My tweeters in my A-pillars were installed with some kind of black glue material holding them in. Does anyone know what this is and how to remove them without causing damage to the speaker or the plastic molding?

Black glue sounds like Duramix and it's STRONG glue. it bonds to the plastic. Take the panel out and sand it down and hopefully if you sand it enough there wont be much holding it in place. Also take some pictures please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks everyone. I just took the A-pillar off the other day and it was a pain getting it back on. I would have taken some pics if I had my camera with me.

I hope it's not as tough as Glock23 says. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
