Removing the REAR deck from an 02 Monte Carlo

As I was just about ready to take a hammer and beat the **** outta my rear deck, I said let me go online and see if anybody knows how. I was trying to replace my stock 6*9's in my rear deck, I noticed that CHEVY had **** near made it impossible to remove them.......First off, I tried by removing the plastic cover over the top of them, but that didn't work. Next I removed the bracket that holds the seat together, but that didn't work. Then I went into the trunk to try and remove it from under the deck, of course that didn't work either. They have them mounted down in about 5 or 6 different places.......With no screws!!! If you can help, it would be appreciated........

If you haven't gotten any help from mymonte.com or otherwise, let me know, I got a manual from crutchfield on how to remove those and if necessary I can find a scanner and send it to ya or I can just explain it to ya otherwise. I haven't had the joy of taking on that task yet, but it's up and comnig pretty soon. I've got a 6.5" comp set coming in the mail tomorrow? or so and that shouldn't be too bad to do, but not looking forward to the rear deck install when that time comes. Let me know if ya still need some help. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
