Removing subs from box

Awhile ago I bought a box from a friend loaded with 2 Kicker CVR 12's. I was just recently trying to pull the subs from the box and they are sealed in somehow. I searched the forums for about 2 hours and I can't find any concrete way to take them out. When I last talked to him he told me he never sealed them into the box. Anyone have any idea how I can take them out?

The cutout or baffel, may have been cut really tight and it is holding the subs in, I am having this same problem with my box, I am sure I could pull the screws and flip the box over and the weight of the subs will dislodge them.

But.... I do not know if I want a 50lb sub dislodging itself onto my hand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif , could damage my hand or the sub.

Yeah I removed my subs from the pre fab box they came in. They were stuck in with something. I couldn't get them out. Here's how I did it.

Took the terminal cap out and levered it out with a piece of wood pushing on the magnet.

Or you could hold the box upside down over your bed and try and shake the sub out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

"Holding the box over the bed" is no option either, each sub weighs around 50 lbs, plus the 16 pound amp strapped to the back of the box plus the 75 lb box , add that all up and that is one heavy *** box to be holding over the bed.

My wife aint to keen on me dragging that box upstairs to our bedroom either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ahh, didn't factor that in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif But for trash prefab boxes it should work.

Oh no, my box is a Fisher Customs box, it was designed by IonSQL, its got double baffel's and they were cut quite tight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I could hear the mdf straining as 12 spoke basket squezzed in. I thing the basket is hung up in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif , plus the rubber gasket is jammed in there tight, I think I will have to cut the gasket off.
