8"s and a 10"

I have two kicker compvr 8" subs geting 220 rms at 2 ohms and a 10" compvr getting 300 rms at 2 ohms. i'm going to redo my trunk and put them in ported box's. could i do the 8s in a ported box and the 10 in a sealed or will that not sound good?

stick with the 8's or get another 10...mixing sub sizes that are so close to another looks ghetto.

ya by mixing the speaker sizes on the substage you more oftent hen not will encounter sound wave cancelation

ok if i trade the two 8s for 2 10s can i have two 10s with 220w and one with 300w

again not really reccomended. try to run everything the same, same sub same power. you would not believe how easy it is to get cancelation.

Ive pondered the possible benifits of different sized subs before.

If your theory is correct about cancellation, then why doesnt it apply to 2 equal sized subs? Why doesnt 1 cancel the other?

Also, isnt 50hz still 50hz wether its from an 8 or a 12? (50hz is an example, dont nuke it)
