Removing motor from TC9 flatcone ED

Along with that you will need backspace shims and shims to center the coil in the gap. Basket and softparts will cost you as much or more than just selling it. But if you still want it for YOU to use it may or may not be worth it. The Eclipse subs wih TC9 motors move for $150 all the time.

a shim can be made very easily, in a matter of a few minutes...not like you need a specific shim or anything.

wtf is a backspace shim lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

...and fyi the tc9 on the Ti is not the same as the one he has..

i personally dont know how tight the clearances are in the TC9... if they are not extremely tight some computer paper folded a few times works fine.

As for backspace shims, long day, i was tired. i was thinking about the proper spaceing behind the coil to have it in a proper rest position when putting a spider on the coil...instead of the whole recone kit comming preassembled.
