Well i previously had 3 12" type r's sealed with the box in the back seat..Only temp cuase the box wouldn't fit in the trunk. It was f'n LOUD!!

So i finally got motivated and did a rear deck blow through with only 2 r's this time. As i expected its not nearly as loud..but it should be alot louder then it is. The top insulation on the rear deck is gone but it is deadened 3x..

I left the 1" insulation behind the rear seat as i didnt think it would effect the bass as the subs are pointed upwards through the rear deck hole.

The 3 r's were wired to .67 ohm to my amp but with imp rise came out to 1.27 ohm

now the 2 r's are wired to 1 ohm with similar imp rise.

So would removing the insulation make that big of a diff even though the subs are fireing through the rear deck?
