Removing Dog Hair From Carpet

There's a ton of freakin dog hair on my carpet and I can't get it off. I have a big vacuum and it doesn't pick it up. Tape of any kind doesn't stick to the carpet or pull off the hair either. Besides having a professional do it, is there any other good ways to remove hair from carpet?

pep boys should sell a "dog hair brush" that has rubber bristles on it to move the dog hair all in one spot.

thats all a "professional" would do.

Get one of those in-home steam cleaners for your carpet. Most have hand-held attachments you can use in your car. Those things work really well.

I have a dyson animal vacuum with the hand attachment. That thing kicks butt. I have a yellow lab with the short really stiff hair and the dyson gets the hair out that my shop vac just cant get.
