Removing deadener...........

Fail on adhesive remover. Remove top layer of deadener, the sticky reisidue can be removed very easily uding the deadener on ITSELF. Get a ball of residue going and stick it to the other residue. Pulls right off. Its kinda hard to explain but you just use it on itself.

Depends if it's asphalt or butyl. Butyl can be pulled off and cleaned up using the technique described. Asphalt is going to require a heat gun, a putty knife and solvent to remove the residue.

thanks guys, some came off really easy, other parts are not so much. tommorrow is another day. I would have left it but after I put the deadener on my score suddenly dropped 1.1 db and that was the only thing that was changed.

Panel flex moves air. Gotsta get yo dbz back, yo.

Seriously, dry ice works wonders on it. A friend and I cleaned up his Integra's hatch in about 4 hours. Don't know where he got the shit, and I know my fingers hurt for days, but it literally just pulled right off with no mess or residue, at least nothing worth speaking of.
