I need some help on how to get this crap off without ruining the paint on the door. I have to get some off since it shows when the door panel is on.. It is Raamat (Butyl) deadener.. I was thinking some goo gone, but figured I'd post here to ask for suggestions.

Any help is appreciated!

No it doesnt it takes the clear off which is better for the deadener. I just washed the whole floor of the Tahoe with Acetone.
Uhm, acetone is a solvent for oil-based paints. Its recommendations like this, from people who clearly do not know, that could cause some real damage to people's stuff. If you dont know, keep your mouth shut. You, do NOT know, clearly.
Heat it up again that should help. Heat gun or hair dryer.
Butyl based mats are not heated. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif Have you ever even worked with this stuff at all?

use body prep solvent, its pretty serious stuff, ive used it when removing badging from vehicles, you still have to use a lil elbow greese, but it removes tar, adhesives stains etc. its like 25 a gallon
