Removing a remote sensor

I'm going to take a sound processor out of my car. It has a remote control, and the remote sensor is attached to the top center of the windshield. I didn't do the installation, but I'm assuming it was probably attached to the glass with superglue or something similar. What's the best way to remove it without leaving any mess on the glass or the plastic of the sensor housing?

Are you sure it's not put up there with double-sided sticky tape? Try sliding a knife blade between the glass and the sensor. If you fill something with a bit of mushy give or spring, it's just foam tape and you should be able to use the knife to pry between the glass and sensor to remove it.
