ok i hooked my fuse up closer then 8 ". umm one question tho, coming from my deck theres a remote wire and a power connection wire. now theres a remote wire coming from my amp.do i hook up my remote wire from the deck to the remote wire from the amp,and then do i hook up the blue wire with the stripe (turn on lead) to that connection .this is where i think i got things messed up

All you do is hook remote wire from the back of your head unit to the remote wire terminal on your amp.

the blue with white stripe is the remote and it goes to the remote on the amp.
