I wan to have a remote in my car so when i turn it on the amp turns on and when i turn it off the amp turns off i dont want a switch. how do i do this? also i have to buy the little conversion box with the rca on one side and the speaker wire on the other. Do i have to tap into both a left and right speaker or just one? how do i do it? take pair wire and wrap it around the pair wire of the factory speaker? im retarted

What head unit are you using? Aftermarket head units have a remote wire lead on the wiring harness. For wire connections, at the very least I'd use crimp connectors...at best, I'd solder and heat shrink.

I normally don't help with questions like this since there's 10,000 of them daily, but I like you're honesty stating your retarded. Us retards gotta stick together, ya know?

anyways, if you have an aftermarket hu, as stated above, you'll have a remote turn on (blue/white) coming from the harness. If not, you'll need to locate an accessory wire in the car (one that reads 12v c onstant in the ACC and ON positions, but nothing when the car is off). Depending on the vehicle, you could possibly tag your factory h/u turn on, a cigarette lighter, factory amp turn on, or in most cases you can go straight to the accessory in the ignition harness.

As for the line out converter, you only have to connect to a single speaker since this will be used for subs which provide a mono output regardless. On the LOC you'll have a white, white/black, grey, and grey/black. Twist the white and grey together and connect to the + of a speaker, then the white/black and grey/black together and connect to the - of that same speaker.
