remote wire...

i had to splice my wires in order to wire my HU.. i got the remote wire coming from my old HU(blue/white), connected to the blue/white on my new HU.. and then i also have my amps remote wire(purplish blue) connected to it.. all 3 are touching and are in one of those caps that u twist.. is that ok? or is that wrong?

well look down a few threads.. im having a bit of trouble.. im trying to figure out what the problem may be

i havent checked recently but it never used to.. and i figured if the remote wire wasnt working correctly then my amp wouldnt turn on in the first place
