Remote wire...?

How safe is it to run a set of small 6" neon tubes from the remote wire of the amplifier, and then to a ground? If its only used to turn on an amp... i would assume it wouldnt be a problem? Also, would it make it better/safer to fuse it? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

just to be on the safe side i'd use a relay

and yes, fuse everything

it would be a problem. dont do it. the remote turn on wire is meant for about .05-.2a from what i've heard. run a relay...
