As long as the REM is attatched to something that is always on when the radio is on, then it will work fine.

if you're using a stock head unit this is sometimes the only way to tap into that, or you could pull your dash and tap into the radio's remote turn on. I've done both, and the fusebox one is easier, just make sure it's only under one side of the fuse and it isn't touching any other fuses, as it will cause things to stay on and drain your battery.
