remote wire q

is it ok to hook the remote wire to the amp from the factory radio 10 (15?) amp fuse in the fuse box? or should i rewire...not sure if this is causing my amp to go into protect or not (fuse is not blown)

Why don't you just wire it to your HU?

you could wire it from your fuse box, but make sure it only gets hot when you turn the keys to access and not all the time... hu would be easier unless it has no remote out. Make sure you've got a snug connection to ground as well, my amps have gone into protect a lot from a loose/bad connection to ground.

nah don't do that... thats what i did, and it works but when i turn the hu off or music off (standby mode) the sub amp stays on and i'd get a little bit of noise eevery so often.
