Remote wire problem?

I have been running my audiobahn amp just fine for about 3 months now and i noticed today that it wasnt working. i wasnt sure why so i checked all the wiring and everything seemed fine with a good solid ground. I tried moving the remote wire around a little to see if anything happened and the power light on the amp would flash and then turn right back off. I tried this with another amp and the same thing happened. Im running an amp for my sub and another for my 5.25's and 6x9s and both are spliced to the same remote wire behind the head unit. the component amp powers fine but the audiobahn wont stay powered up. could this be a bad amp or hopefully just a bad remote wire?

if you used another amp and it did the same thing then its notthe amp. its got to be the remote wire runningto that amp, especially if the other speaker amp isnt turning off. use a meter to see if you lose voltage in the wire. if it doesnt lose voltage then its the amp..but i doubt it

yeah i just dont understand how a little wire suddenly goes bad. and the amp is only 4 months old i dont know why i would be having problems with it already

stranger things have happened. mabye after you look at the wire after you take it out seeif there are any nicks or wear on the wire. sometimes they get cought in the clips and rub on metal over time and can gnd out...never know.
