remote wire hookup

alright when i look at the my hu, i see the blue and white wire, with a red thing on the end... i'm supposed to just cut that off and splice the remote with that correct?? Also when i look at my kit i dont see anything that will attach to my remote wire to hook it up to the amp... any help is appreciated

The red thing on the end of the wire..... is it a crimp connector of somekind?

If it is one... then if you have a pair of crimping plier things... then just crimp the remote to it. If not, then yea cut it off and splice it.

As for connecting the remote to the amp.. you dont need anythng out of a kit. You just put it in there just like you do any other cable for your amp. Good stuff. Hope that helps

yeah, but with the other wires, you first have to put a connector on the end of it correct?? i don't see any other connecter to attach to the wire.... it doesn't seem like i would take the bare tiny wire, and screw it into the remote slot

You just take the small remote wire and put it right into the amp and screw it down, it won't go anywhere.

Yah, u don't need a connector, it is small enough to put in and screw down without a connector.
