Is it ok to run a set of led tubes (interior) off the remote wire from the headunit? The power wire for the led box thing has a fuse inline so is it safe for the amp and leds to get the power from the remote line?

absolutely not. use the remote wire to trip a relay running off the power wire.

run ur HU's remote line to a relay. Then run the remote line to ur amps and LED's from that relay. Dont hook the LEDs directly to the HU remote.

that's cheaper than kragens. hopefully their quality is good.

Bosch 30amp relay is probably $7 at RS. Partsexpress has them cheaper, especially if you buy 10 at a time. Handy to have around, so I'd get a bunch...

no. if they must be triggered by turning on and off your radio, follow the relay|remote wire advice.

If you just want a switch to turn them on and off, come out of your fusebox with power to them. there is almost always an extra circuit or two, you just need fuses and a 12v switch.

Do yourself a favor and use a Bosch relay. Very high quality and well worth the money.

well a little of topic but how to i know what size fuse to use when doing the big 3 im going to beuseing 2/0 welding wire
