Remote Turn-On Wire With Second Amp

I'm installing a second amp and I was wondering if I had to get behind the head unit and run another remote turn-on wire or if I could just tap into the one that has already been run for my first amp?

Tap it... I usually just run a jumper from one amp to the other.

Tap it, I just made a Y out of the main run coming from the HU then soldered all 3 wires together so that I could make them the length I needed without having two wires coming from one to the other. Good luck!

just dont tap more than a couple of amps off the deck output. if you do you run the risk of burning up your remote output

The most I've done is 2...after that I like to run a relay
