I was wondering if it is possible to get a remote start system added to the factory alarm system for a 07 honda civic SI coupe? If it is possible, does anyone know how to get it done?

would it be a separate remote for the remote start or would they be able to program it in to the stock key/alarm from factory?

Most basic systems would be a seperate remote.

I do know that Vipers have a seperate trigger input that can be used to connect to an extra channel from the factory alarm. If the civics had rem start as an option, there should be a an extra trigger.

Stock Honda systems will not lock and unlock the doors with the engine on. This will require a second remote. Viper 160xv for non alarm and Viper 560xv for remote start alarm.

nah, can't really hurt it. But if you're asking a question like that, i'm (not trying to put you down) going to strongly suggest you get a shop to do it for you.
