Remote start in 03 tl

I want to install a remote start in my 03 tl-s. This car is mint (20,000 miles) and I want to keep everything as stock as possible. I can do the wiring and all of that no problem. But I know nothing about the transponder key system. I do not want to defeat it permanently though. What is a good starter to use, with seperate lock and unlock buttons, and an indicator of if the car was started would be nice.

I bought a dei (avital) system for my truck and I was not impressed with it at all. How is Compustar and code alarm?

compustar is good, code alarm isnt good.

Alright so im going to try compustar, but how do I interface with the transpnder system?
