Ok I have a 05 silverado with keyless entrey on it. I want to add a remote start and alarm. My question is how hard is it to install on your own if you have never done it before.

How much experience working on car electronics do you have? I would pobably try to dissuade you if you haven't done all that much. You're going to have to bypass the factory security and a whole lot more. I suppose it depends how confident you are in messing with your vehicle's electronics, but again, if you haven't done a few before, I would try to talk you out of it.
