remote question

ok here's the prob.

I'm strating my installation restyling and adding a 2º amp, got an fuse-distri. and i'm going to ground it in an other spot than the 1º amp (any prob here or should i join the 2 ground cables?)

i just remenber that i must get the 2º amp the remote cable too... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif my h.u. is an jvc 811 and (as far as i remember) it only as one remote cable... how the hell I connect it to the 2 amp's? or it is simple as soldering 2 cables (with the same "gauge") to the end of the remote??

its good to make all the ground connections in one place. so ground both your amps together where your first amp is grounded.

for the remote, just daisychain the wires together. to do this, take both wires, from each amp, and twist them together. just cut the main remote wire a few feet from its connection to the amp and splice a smaller wire from the other amp into it. worked for me perfect.

use a wirenut, its a small peice of plastic that you can join muiltiple peices of wire with, just cut ur remote line going to amp 1 where ever its most convienient and pop in a wire nut (usually a colorful peice of plastic shaped like a toothpaste cap)

Thank you all. I was thinking it was something more dificult than that.

i have other question, in every site that as amplifier installation tip's it allways say that the ground cable should have the same size as the + cable, but is it a problem if I use a larger ground cable?
