Remote Lead...2 Amps?

After some searching on here it seems that there a couple different ways of doing this. Which one is the easiest/most efficient? Ive never installed before so im trying to keep it as simple as possible. One way I read about was to buy some adapter thing? and another was to splice it and lead it to your second amp. Is that correct?

Is it possible to just plug it to the first amp and run something from that amp to the second one...I know the amp im getting has rca preouts so you can run another amp without running the rca all the way back to the hu...can you do the same thing with the remote??

edit: Im also getting the kicker dual amp kit, does that come with anything to get the remote to both amps kinda like a dist block or something??

what I do is splice the wire and run to both amps.
So you connect a single wire to the HU, run it to the trunk and splice it near the amps and run the original wire to one amp, and the spliced wire to the other amp..

Do you solder or crimp at the splice point?

Sorry, Im not sure what you mean by that. Im an extreme CA noob. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
run the wire into the remote on 1 amp and a wire out from that remote to the remote on the second amp.

run the wire into the remote on 1 amp and a wire out from that remote to the remote on the second amp.
Yeah, that sounds much easier. So just remote the first amp like normal, and get another wire and attach it to the first amp's remote spot that already has the wire attached, and run it to the second...

Ok here's a rundown for the slow ones trying to grasp what they're saying.

1-Run a single remote lead from the back of the headunit to your trunk.

2-Run that remote lead into amp #1.

3-Cut a run long enough to run from amp #1 to #2.

4-Run wire from amp #1 to amp #2

Summary:

Amp #1 has two remote wire's in the remote location. 1 comes from the headunit, the other from the other amp. Amp #2 has only one remote lead coming from your first amp.
