Remote/Ground wire conflict.

Ok, my system was working for quite some time before one day it just suddenly stopped.

After testing each of my wires I found that my remote wire was receiving no power so I re-did the crimping to the stereo and re-did the amp connection. Still nothing; no power to the amp but was receiving power to the stereo... weird.

I discovered that when I removed my ground wire, my amp suddenly had power but everytime my ground sets solid, the amp loses power... any ideas?

sounds like it doesn't have enuff positive current, i know some amps will operate with little of each polarity but as soon as one is too powerful it won't have enuff

power to sustain itself. Check your battery cable and fuse if that's good, then

jump off the remote connection but connecting a little wire from the battery cable

to the remote connector on the amp.

then jump off the remote connection but connecting a little wire from the battery cable to the remote connector on the amp.
If you are suggesting that he wire his amp's remote turn on terminal to the power cable/battery.....that would be a very bad idea. Then his amp would never turn off, and constantly draw power.
