Bass boost you need to set wisely.

It could make your subs clip.

The remote is most likely for the Level.

Remotes were made so you can adjust the bass level for each song from sitting in your driver seat, not having to go back and adjust the amp.

ok well.... u kinda just said the one on the amp would be not to ess with.. kk got that

but then u say the remote would be so u wouldnt have to GO back there and adjust it....

but why would i adjust it if it screws my gain and settings up?...

whatever im hoping its just to turn bass on or off in general basically, NOT bass boost that jacks stuff up

Say your listening to Kanye West - Stronger.

The song sounds HORRIBLE with lots of bass.

You could just use the remote and turn the bass down to a reasonable level.

Then if your listening to Lil Jon - Da Blow

The song sounds GREAT with lots of bass.

the remote max will be what you set your gain at on your amp. Atleast it should be if you set your gain properly.

all the remote does is alow you to raise the level of your bass boost by 1% so in a hole the bass boost knob itself is not that bad( as long as you have the bass boost all the way down at the amp) eather way you look at it bass boost is a shitty thing man if you need to use it you just need a bigger amp or to strap two, sorry to say it.
