I'm honestly not 100% sure. Last time I attempted to have it tested at AutoZone I blew up their alternator tester thing and they tried to charge me like $5000.

I've got a DC XP 270, maybe you'd be interested in buy his alt then trading me? So you could match alt companies, idk if you even care about them matching, reason I would do it is so I could get another singer and match. Cause I can't find anyone with used XPs or SPXs..

yea, it is 275A peak (cold) 250A hot. Typically attained between 1600-1800 RPMS (would depend on the crankshaft size of the vehicle it is being used on)

and I have seen between 160-180 at idle (between what would be 700-800 RPMS for most vehicles)

Not enuf details on the alt. GMC & Chevy has different motors: 3800, 5.7, 4.3 etc... Not all alt fit the same motor.
