Regular Cab S-10... Options?

I'm installing a stereo in my dad's 1990 regular cab S-10 (which I might be buying from him), what are my options for subwoofer locations? I've thought about putting a couple of tens or multiple eights behind the seats, or I could get a hard top put on the bed and fit TONS of subs in there, or if he puts in bucket seats like he's planning to I could fit something between the seats. What should I do?

My friends got tens behind his reg cab F-150. They are just a little bit bigger. Id go with buckets though and do what I did. You can get a bigger ported Box. Which means ull be louder than if u go sealed.

i got an atlas 12 to fit back there lol. if you do a build too box you can get a 6.5" deep driver back there unless you are 6'4" its 1 notch from being all the way back.

how far up is your passenger seat? lol without taking a sledghammer to the back (lol) the most deepth i could get is 8.5"ish while still haveing room but i also have a bench seat

Most people can still sit in there comfortably. I could slide the seat back another 1/2" or so, but i like to let the sub have some room to move freely.

Go to sound and security message board, lots of good S10 info there including what many other S10 owners have squeezed back there. You'd get better answers to this question there.

depends on how it is set up if you need an amp rack there and depends on the seat/seat. in a bench like mine 2 cft would be the max. while having room for a modest amp.
