regualr port VS snail port...

what is the difference if they both end up being the same frequencies? What does the extra port length do for you? Sorry to ask a dumb question but I don't build enclosures. Going to be attemting my first soon.

By "snail port" are you specifically referring to the Snailshell enclosure by Nolte Audio (formerly Power 4 Sound)....or simply to one of the ports that's wrapped around multiple times ?

The later is simply a method by which to fit a long port length inside the enclosure.

The former is a can of worms (or snails, as the case may be).
