Refurbished subwoofers??

I would never buy anything refurbished. Chances are they would be totally fine, but I just dont like the idea of buying refurbished. Could be a personal problem. I've got issues. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

How reliable are they, I can get the L5 kickers for a good price. Do you guys have experience with refurbished subs, they are renewed by kicker as well.

Hmm, I dunno, define "refurbished"? All soft parts including vc are replaced? I can't see it being a bad deal then, as the metal frame rarely has major issues. (never seen one warp from usage at least). Now, if they've done something less than that, then I'd be reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaally cautious myself.

they are reconed by kicker and resold.

might have some scrathces on the basket or on the motor itself but that is the only problem with them. they go through the same QA as the normal kicker products.

i had a set of refurbed L7's. they were fine. but the shop i got mine from didnt offer a warrenty. and one of them always had a werid noise commin out. not sure what from though. but if you dont mind a few scrathes on the motor and basket and since they are givin you the 90 days. i say go for it.
