red or yellow top

yellow top. Yellow tops can start your car easily, and have deep-cycle capabilities. It lasts about 1.5-2 times longer than a regular battery on the same draw, and can be completely depleted consistently and have no problems with it.

The red top is a starting battery and is similar to a regular battery with more cranking amps (i think) for starting.

i agree with the yellow but only because u live in miami..if it were minnesota id probably suggest the red..yellow top and blue tops dont like -0 temps my red top didnt either but o well i dont think any battery does

im guessin im going with yellow

Don't guess. Put off your purchase for a few more days, get other people's experiences...

Also realize that you have to baby a yellow top when you first get it. you should put a charger on it (6 amp draw / 1 hour) for the first few nights

I have a red top in my 2 vehicles. Great battery. Unless you plan on playing your music a lot with the car off, or not turning the car on for extendid periods of time get the red top. Not worth the extra money. IMO.
