i went with red tops because they are cheaper. granted you do get that little extra amperage with the yellows but ,y 2 red tops do wonders for me. bought one retail and my good friend's dad runs a battery manufacturing company for interstate batteries. got me a slightly higher amperage than normal (1000 crank amps or something) brand new for 45 bucks....sweeeeet. ya thy work great for starting and system beatage......
