Recovering addicts?

I'm 25 days clean today and am having one hell of a hard time with it..

It's really strange to actually feel feelings again.

I've felt pretty overwhelmed since I got home from treatment yesterday..

I quit dope and drinking years ago. Not sure how many. Maybe 14?

I tried the AA thing but they just sat around feeling sorry for themselves that they couldn't party. So I just white knuckled it.

so next time you are in a HORRRRRIBLE mood, and around your friends that participated, what are you going to do? especially if they really are your friends

Well I've severed contact with old using buddies and kept only the clean ones. I added a bunch of numbers to my reject list so I don't even know when they call. I also have no transportation at the moment so if I want to hang out with anyone, they have to come to me.

I am/was addicted to opiates.

I see this thread getting big, going by all the threads about alcohol on here and how everyone loves it so much I'd say there's a lot of alcoholics on this forum. A lot are probably still in denial too.......
