cme and a friend had an argument that a 15" woofer could not be reconed into a 12" i say it cant he says it can. Can someone help

it can.

depending on the sub it can be reconed into an 8"

For the most part the motors can easily be reconed from 10-18"

I knew you knew what you were talking about. I just wanted to make it clear for him. So "technically", you CANT have it "reconed" to a 12, but you can have a 15 made into a 12.

technically it can't be reconed, because that just means putting the same size cone back on. but the motors are usually the same for all sizes. so yeah, with a new basket it can be made into a 12.
