does anyone know an exact brand and name for the black ca glue used in reconing? also does anyone carry shims for sale? i know it varies but whats best for shimming. paper or manila folder?thanksalso does shim go on inside or outside of coil?

There is no exact brand I think, they all use their own formula. I think you can buy CA glue at hobby stores but no sure which one it would be. Everyone recommends locktite epoxy or something similar.

Sheets of paper are good, you can get pretty close to the exact spacing you need. Inside the coil.

Im not sure, that why I would just go get the locktite epoxy or some other flexible epoxy that is very strong.

loctite 410 or 411c. also some comps. use loctite 418.

Use to be $5 for enough to do a 12-15" sub. I dont remember how much exactly. I want to say 3oz of both CA and accelerator.
