recone a shiva-x?

i have a defective shiva-x that apparently exodus audio does not want back. i have sent them numerous emails asking if they were sending a call tag and if they wanted it back, and have gotten no reply. so instead of junking it i'd like to maybe do something with it.

defective in this case meaning the coil rubs.

is it possible to fix this with a recone? is it likely that there is a real problem that a recone won't resolve?

who has a recone kit that will work for it? it's an xbl^2 motor, dual 8 ohm coils.

call and ask about a recone kit maybe they can sell you. you want the coil lenght to be exact as oem coil so idk you would have to see if someone can make you a coil

i guess i can just email them or call them and say, "since you don't seem to want it back, how bout you sell me a recone kit for it?"

then at least all the t/s specs would match and i could use them together.
