Recommended tuning for 12 fi q

if u use the re calculator make the desired volume 2.65 or whatever to account for the sub displacement

the difference between 32 and 28 hz is that 28hz will have a flatter better sounding response. with a higher low end presence. however the 32hz tuning would be louder, sound pretty good, and get pretty low and require a smaller box. prob .4 cubes or so.

ur call. im a low end / sq buff so i built my box for my 12" fi q that i had to 2.65 net after sub and port @ 27hz 2.8 before sub.

The box I'm using for my Fi Q12 is 2.56 after displacement tuned to 26 hz.

Its a 12" fi q, powered by a ed 9.1. Gettin about 900 to 1000 watts. I plan on giving t 2 cubes but what should i tune to? I listen to alof of metal, and i love to turn up the rap music at stoplight confrontations to see if i can get louder then the other guy in his car

isn't that amp good for at least 1200?

At 1ohm it is. But the fi q i have is a dual 1 ohm so have to run it at 2 ohms

i say 35 htz aqnd i would laugh if you tried a stoplight confrontation with me using only a Q and 1000 watts
