Recommended Gauge Power Wire for 200 Wrms?

i believe that would be a waste of money, 12 gauge wire is rated at 30 Amps , the amp is fused at 25 Amps so therefore 12 gauge wire should be sufficient

ol as stated above 8guage is perfect. u could get away with 10 if u were straped for cash, but suggested would b 8 guage.

1. subwoofer amplifier (i don't see what difference it would make for the power wire if it was a subwoofer amp or speaker amp)

2. I don't plan on upgrading in the future

3. it is 200w rms

I dont know exactly what he was getting at either, but a "subwoofer amp" is usually a class D meaning its more efficient at making those 200watts than a speaker amp is, meaning it draws less current.
