Looking to replace the door speakers in my Honda s2000. I will not be hooking the components up to an amp. I have a Pioneer DEH-P880PRS.

so if there are certain speakers that perform just off headunit power, please do tell. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just remember eventhough your not amping them, an amp is what gets the most out of components

But for under $150

Check out the Phoenix Gold RSDs, good comps for only 129!

Also consider, Polk, Infinity, MB Quart

There are some reviews out there that say the midbass on the RSd set is absolutely killer.... but that's on an amp with arout 120+ wrms per channel.

You can get them at onlinecarstereo.com (they are an authorized PG dealer) for $129 shipped.

i have never heard the RSD I have heard the polks tho and they do sound very good themselves. but once again without an amp attached you prob wont tell a difference between a set of coaxis and a set of comps
