Recommend me an amp

Hey guys-

Been out of the scene for a long while. Appears my JBL px300.4 has finally kicked the bucket.. Been running it under its stable impedance for about 2 years now and have cooked it in 2 Phoenix summers, would shut down after about 30 minutes of full tilt to cool itself off and come back on when cooled down. It seems as though one of the channels is now f'ed up, likely because of all of this. Knew the day would come, but would recommend this amp to anyone.. was very satisfied with it.

I no longer am on top of what amps are available. I'm looking for 2 channel amp that is good for 300-400wrms @ 2 ohms, per channel. No budget restrictions right now, just curious what might be good to look at for the time being and will worry about finances later.

Appreciate the response. I am currently looking into the Cadence Z9000 which has the power I am looking for as well as minimum impedence will work well with my component setup. I took a look at your suggestions above and they got me going in the right direction.

The new family of Class D Precision Power Phantom amplifiers are affordable and they have good reviews. The 2-channel version does 300watts per channel at 2ohms I believe. The price is around $160-180 shipped.
