Well, in order to suggest a box size and tuning, we need to know your system goals...
If you want to have a little better SQ, then go for ~2.25 ft^3 tuned to 30 Hz. If you care more about just being loud, then try closer to 3 or 3.25 ft^3 tuned to 35 to 40 Hz.

As far as an amp goes, look for something that does 1000W to 1500W RMS @ 1-ohm. Something like this would work, but there are a lot of options out there... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3
