Well since you sub is D4, the lowest you could get it down to is 2ohms. So with that hifonics amp, it's rated at 900x1@2ohms, (at 14.4v i believe) so you'd probably actually be getting 700-800, which is a tad below the RMS of the sub you mentioned. But the only sub amp's i've ever owned are hifonics and none have failed me. Great budget amps IMO.
