recommend me an amp please?

I'm a complete noob to car audio. Please bare with me. I bought a kicker cvt in a truck sub box because i have a 1989 gmc s15 and there is little room for any subs. Right now I have 2 rockford fosgate "punch" speakers, i am pretty new to car audio so i assume they are "mids" they are in boxes also that fit behind the seat.

Can anyone recommend me an amp that will work well with a 12" kicker cvt that isn't too costly(trying to stay under 150 bucks by buying on internet, so make any suggestions and i may be able to find it cheap) but I may also end up buying a second sub if just 1 isn't enough.

I am wondering if the sub is too overpowering and I can't really hear the music if I can make new boxes for the rockford fosgate mids and have 2 regular speakers, 2 mids, and 1 sub. The amp and the mids would be behind my seat. Will a mono amp power 2 mids and 1 sub? Or would I even be able to do this? I heard mono amps are the best for subs so I was trying to stick to those. you cant power 2 diffrent speakers that have diffrent power needs. like ex say the cvt's rms is 200, and your speakers are 80, yo cant run an 280 rms amp to power that speakers/sub, you need a amp that is 80X2 for speakers, and an amp (mono) that is 200X1,

im not completely sure but i think that is how it is.
