recommend me active HU

Im looking for a active HU for arround 170 dollars like the Pioneer DEH-P8300UB or the jvc sd1000. What other brand got active hU under that price.

Not sure but if you can go active with the 8400bh i recommend that over the 8300. 4v preamps bt hd radio all for under 200

where did u find that that Pio was active? I dont see it in the manual online....

An active head unit just mean it has a selectable 3 way(or more) crossover network built in. Usually a Front HPF, Rear bandpass filter (HPF + LPF), and a Subwoofer LPF. Often referred to as High, Mid, and Low.
