Recommend a new System

get a decent 6.5 inch component system for the front and forget the rear speakers. leave them out all together. you can also get a dash kit and get any single din deck you want. you don't have to limit yourself to double din.

x2-I agree kcdc is right on the money. Nice Comps up front and get you a nice single din with some eq options, 3 preouts and you should be set. If you give a budget some people will give options for speakers, amp and HU. Will while all give you our opinions of course.

I always enjoy the avatar kcdc. I need to get something a little more interesting, rather than the boring one I have now.

Get a comp set (CDT), Comp amp, HU (recommend the 7800MP) single 12" Dual2 L7, Hifonics Brutus 1606d
Well, i figure that i want to do everything now so that way i can't be mad at myself later on if i don't have enough bass or the speakers don't sound good

i run cdt speakers.... all honesty..... they sound great.... but probably because they sound more warm and nbatural... when i think i like a little more aggessive detailed sound.

I have a 94 camry xle that had 6.5 in front, and 6x9's in back.... ripped out 6x9's and replaced front 6.5 components with a 3 way system.... bought q logic kicks and reinforced them so they arnt flimsy... put 4" mid ranges in there with tweeters as well.. and put 6.5 in deadened doors....

i have 1 12" fi q in the back..... whole system is great....

based on your budget here is what i suggest....

rainow 265 slcs 6.5 comp set... 280$ or around there

sundown 100.2 300$

what ever size sub you want i suggest a Fi Q 250 - 290$ depending on size

sundown sae-1000D on teamssaudio.com is on pre sale for 250$ and puts out 1000 watts accurately rated

Head unit id suggest kenwood excelon series or pioneer premier 880 prs - 300$

that'll leave you with 100$ or so for some wiring.....
