Rechecked gains now I have a problem...

Well its been 4 days since I setup my new amp so I was rechecking all the settings to make sure everything was still set. When I checked my gains they were showing 90v but the system sounded fine, no over heating or anything. I tried lowering the gain and it would only go to 60 with gain all the way down. I unhooked everything and turned all my setting on the HU down and reset the gains now it has almost no output at all. I have it set to 43.1v ~930 watts. The only way I get decent output is by turning on "loud" and setting subwoofer to 8 (highest setting) on the HU, but when I do that and check my gains it is up in the 80's. Could it be something with my DMM? Any help would be great.

Could it be a bad ground? I have checked everything else. What symptoms dies a bad ground show?

Was your DMM set to VaC 200?

Was set to 200 v~ (~over the v) and the probes were in the V (omega) mA and Com

how did you set gains did you keep it same volume and same song and kept it on repeat ?

used a 50hz cd on repeat set it to just above the loudest I would ever listen and set it with dmm.

i think its the gains on your deck i would factory reset the head unit what kinda deck is it i had this happen before on a eclipse deck and it was the eq setting were wrong.

Ok I reground the amp and it is a little better but still not as loud as I thought it should be. Could it be the rca's? They are tsunami rca's but I don't know if that could be the problem. I know the flatlyne us a sq sub, but **** my 10" type r in a sealed enclosure seemed to get louder. Any suggestions?
