I feel like it's the amp, even when you have the phone connected, it should giving it enough signal.Tried another set same sound. Now I'm worried it's the head unit or the amp. My head unit should still be under warranty
So you are saying even the AUX to rca should have clear bass from the sub? If so I think it is the amp too because my head unit is less than a year old.I feel like it's the amp, even when you have the phone connected, it should giving it enough signal.
Yeah. Volume on the phone was max, yeah?So you are saying even the AUX to rca should have clear bass from the sub? If so I think it is the amp too because my head unit is less than a year old.
Again thanks for your help
Ok. So it was okay when you bridged it and then this started again? Does sound like the amp.I Maxed out the volume. It's not even as powerful as the weak bass i was mentioning before
Just to double check...all the connections to the sub and the terminals are solid? If they are, then maybe the amp had its day.when i bridged it it was ok then it just didnt work again.
Ok. Ready for a new amp?I just tried to direct connect the cables to the sub instead of the terminals and it produces the same sound
I'd buy this one and call it a day:I just tried to direct connect the cables to the sub instead of the terminals and it produces the same sound
This is irrelevant. Sorry you don't like the deck, but that's not the problem here. He completely bypassed the deck when connected to his phone and output was still lacking. He does not need to replace the deck and he should not replace it. Waste of money for his situation.I had that deck. For a couple months. Get rid of it. Even the wife told me to make it go away. She'd rather have had a stock mazda deck than that. My buddy has the single DIN version and it ***** just as bad. These 2 decks are forcing me to reconsider ever buying pioneer again.
