Reccomend me an amp for a 12W6v2

Like the title says, i recently sold my w7 & 1000/1 and just picked up a 12W6v2.

Does anyone have any amp to reccomend to power it before i drop money on a 500/1 ?

Dual 4 ohm ... im trying to keep this around the price i can find a used 500/1, probably below $ 250

i would have kept your 1000/1. that amp is awesome on that woofer. i ran that particular setup.

i wouldnt go as far as awesome, but yea.

I'm pushing mine in a 2 / 2.5 cub sealed box with a Hifonics BXi 2006D. sounds really good if you ask me, but i'm not the most experianced in amp/sub combos.

It was just too much, more of a system than i needed. Im getting more into SQ than SQL or SPL. Oh yea, and by selling those two components, i didnt just break even in the total overall cost of my system, im $ 600 ahead.

I paid 219 shipped for a W6 and might pick up a 500/1 tomorrow for 175.... that leaves me about 100 bucks ahead of the game... can you say free system!

that 500/1 will be insufficient. i know, i ran one on a 12w6v2, then i went ot the 1000/1.

i dont kno why you got ride of the 1000/1 and the w7 in the first place but thats your call............i would run a 500 to it that would be perfect i had the same amplifier but to a 13.5w6
