Reccomend me a 6.5"

yeah looks good. (exactly what i have for front stage)
throw away the tweeters
LOL

Free [does not ever equal quality] does it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the speakers should be great.and that amp will work well with them.

what headunit do you have?

~Magick_Man~
I have the AIWA CDC-x304 from Sony. Its allright, 25 watts rms [52 max... not like it matters anyhow]. I'll be upgrading my head unit sometime in the future, this was justa replacement for my stock cassette player. lol

i'd also get an amp for the front stage when you get your new HU. the profile should is enough power for the rev's and it's cheap!

and, those free tweeters are trash, and since the revs are coaxials (tweeters included) there is absolutely no need for seperate ones. it would just be tons of work for possibly a slightly better soundstage (but probably would end up looking and sounding crappy, and taking lots of work).

You I ahve a 1995 Honda accord EX sedan and I was gonna buy the Pioneer TS-D161R 2 way speakers but it says they dont fit in there

You Becasue I measured the stock speaker and it was veery close to 6.6"

You 6.5 my bad

Eddie. They stick up too high to mount under the factory grill.

You Sooo..... is there a way to get them to ft in there

You not scared if cuting a thing or 2

Eddie. You might be able to trim the inside of the grill.

You which one?

You one on the car door?

Eddie. The factory grill.

You Im not planning on using the "grille" cover thing on the speaker

You oooh I see

u can take that off tho right?

Eddie. I'm talking about the factory grill.

You the one on the door...

Eddie. Yes.

You hmmm

Eddie. Custom work is on your shoulders.

You Which is cutting the factory grill

You I did that to my 6x9's in te rear

Eddie. Most likely or at least trimming.

You Trimming...?

You I just used a dremel

Eddie. With a dremel.

You so what are my other options?

Eddie. A different speaker.

Boooooooooooooo!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

well, i have a 99 accord and they definitely don't fit in the stock speacker baffle, but i cut the back out of the baffle, and it now acts as a ~1/2" spacer. i have the speakers mounted to the door via this spacer, and i also have the pioneer grills on under the stock grills (for no aparent reason, you can't see them at all), and they fit fine. n

ot sure if thats the same as yours, but in my car they fit fine. and if you own a dremel it seems that it should not be a problem to make them fit.
